Three decadesin the room.
Tech house, electro and jackin’ sounds. Sharp cuts, unexpected loops, and a feel for what moves a room.

Since stepping behind the decks in 1994, DJ Fame has brought tech house, electro and jackin’ sounds to clubs across the U.S. and around the world. His sets move with the room, built on precise mixing, sharp cuts, unexpected loops, and an instinctive connection with the crowd. The journey has taken him from Alaska and Hawaii to the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Europe, Russia, and Asia.
For six years, New York’s Sullivan Room was home base. At his monthly party, The Review, Fame brought a rotating cast of guest DJs into the room and made the residency his own. In 2006, he mixed Sullivan Room Volume 1, capturing a piece of that scene.
That same year, his solo EP Name It X arrived on the UK label Dubsided and found support from Danny Howells, Richie Hawtin, and Ricardo Villalobos. With Gaby Dershin, he formed Bit Crushers, releasing music on Perfecto and Little Mountain Records before compiling and mixing the two-disc Sullivan Room Volume 2.
Fame later teamed up with Eric Sharp to build Rock It Science, bringing together San Francisco club nights and original music. Alongside the records and the rooms, Amos spent two decades helping shape music technology for DJs and producers. He kept playing and making records throughout. Now he brings that experience back into DJ Fame, with a producer’s ear and a DJ’s instinct for the floor.
